Hi, quick intro from a newbie.....to the forum that is.

I have a 1988 CBR 1000 F-J with at present an F-K engine in it. She's a bit rough round the edges but been my daily ride for the past 4 years now. I've fixed some of the plastics, swapped engines when they've gone bang, and did Manchester, UK to Faro, Portugal in 2006 for the 25th Moto Club de Faro rally - a 4000 mile round trip and worth every minute of it.

As for me, I'm an IT trainer, married, 2 kids. Anything else anyonbe wants to know, just ask - I don't bite, unless you want me to!

 

hey there :-) ..welcome to the forums and its nice to see another UKer here too .. you are only about an hour plus from me I think ... I am in Cheshire, England .. I see you have already found the hurricane section ..they are a great bunch down there and very helpful ...hope you enjoy your stay here :-)

I'm presently at work in Leeds but you're right, it is raining!

Less than an hour from me to Cheshire - I'm out towards Oldham on the east side of Manchester.

Spent many a pleasant hour at Oulton Park in Cheshire watching the BSB series this year - it rained then too!

I havent been to Oulton Park in years and years ... everytime I have been to Manchester or Leeds its rained on me ..lol

Its beautifully sunny and warm here just now but we have more storms forecast ...
