Smile Hello from Southwest Wales, UK

Hello, I have just bought myself a CBR600F3 1998, with only 9500 on the clock, has been a little neglected kept in a garage and not used much.

Picking her up on Friday!

This is only my second bike having just sold my Suzuki GS500, I am hoping to do some touring and track days on her next year after a little TLC over the winter. Will be posting pic soon and no doubt asking advice.

Greetings!

Good luck getting her on the road. Does she run now?

Yer she runs, he MOTed and Taxed her before selling and it has been used occasionally, going to strip her down sand and repaint the frame, wheels and exhaust, possibly new chain, sprockets, pads etc over the winter.

But the engine sounds and pulls beautifully so no worry's there. Hoping to have a nearly new bike by the time i'm finished.

Welcome to the CBR Forum Kingsnake,

Sounds like your going to do a fairly comprehensive cosmetic makeover of your 600. Perhaps start a dedicated thread for the refurb and post lots of pictures. We love pictures!

Cheers, SB
