Default Hello from Rapid City, SD.

I had been without a street bike for a number of years and I couldn't take it any more!! The four wheeler just wasn't getting it done. I bought a 2005 Yamaha 1100 Vstar Silverado, and while this is a very nice criuser, it didn't fill the void left by selling my last bike(1990 CBR 600 Hurricane--I know--it was a fossil). I lucked out and found a 2001 CBR 600F4I in Chadron, NE.
The guy I bought it from worked a the only dealer in town (Bauerkempers Honda, Yamaha, and Stihl chainsaws!!!!). The bike has 4000mi and looks like it spent it's whole life in a showroom!!
Pearl white and red color scheme. The bonus was I got a 110 mile trip back to my place right after I wrote the check. My Hurricane was cool, but this bike is light years ahead of it!!
It makes me feel all funny inside. I got comfortabe on the bike and then proceeded to go 135mph--WOW!! Probably not real fast for you veteran riders, but I was hooked. The bike felt like it certainly had more to give--how fast will a stock 2001 go??

Gotta get back to work--cool forum--thanks for listening.
