Well, what a feeling to finally hear this thing run! I guess it hasn’t been that long only since last September but seeing as I want or on the road this spring I really wanted to get it running to make sure there was no other major problems!

Well she runs like a top, a little smoky at first but did start to clear up as I ran it up to temps.

Actually carbs seemed pretty close as I did a static syncing on the bench before putting them on, but I will hook up my syncing tool and fine tune, then I think I’ll dump the oil and filter and install new as well as new coolant.

only thing I had was a slight weep when cold from the RH pipe nipple that goes into the back of the head, sealed up once warm, I will search out some O rings and replace when I can.

once I figure out how to do a video I’ll add one.

Hi, that's a nice bike buddy I wanted one of these myself a while back but couldn't find one at the time so bought a GPZ1000RX instead it was a nice bike and pretty quick but I still wish I'd held out. It'll be nice to see her in all her livery 'and hear her running if you're able to post a vid.

Yes I definitely will post a video, once I figure it out. I’m not really too up on the technology end of things, I guess that’s why I like the old school bikes!
That and they’re cheaper…..Lol

Hey, that motor sounds sweet buddy it'll sound different again once you get the airbox back on but she revs and sounds well you can hear it's a smooth running motor, I do like the early CBR1000s they just sound right look right and are a joy to ride.
