Hi, I just purchased my first bike last summer.. 1995 Honda CBR 600 F3.. Seems to be in great shape for 30,000 miles.. I love riding a motorcycle, it's amazing.

Nice to be a part of the community.

I would like to use it this summer for some traveling. Also, I would like to be able to pick up a few groceries, etc. when in town with it. Any advice and/or help on where to get luggage/cases/panniers etc. would be great. Although I'm not personally a big fan of fuel tank bags or most soft luggage that is attached with bungee like materials.

xxxxx edit : CBRClassic / NO EXTERNAL LINKS TO MANUFACTURER WEBSITES xxxxx

Personally, I like the idea of the hard panniers shown on the Hepco & Becker page, but can not find any matching components/kits for my particular bike on their website.

Also, I read somewhere about people customizing sport bikes for added comfort/touring. I know it is not a touring bike, but if not considered taboo, I would also be interested in gaining some more info on raising handle bars for comfort.. As in how is that done and is it appropriate. Also, any other advice or info will be appreciated as well.. other than buy a Gold Wing. I do know that is the professional/best answer, but I want to keep and use this particular bike until maybe sometime in the future when I could afford another.

Thanks,

Jeremy

Giday Jeremyand welcome to the CBRF :icon_wink:

I had to edit your post to remove the URLs ...
If you have a certain bag or bags that you would like to show everyone , just find the image of it and talk about it if you like , but do not direct link to the website ....thanks mate

Ok. Guess I'm just so used to Facebook where everyone pretty much just posts links to everything. Gotcha.

Well, anyways, the only side luggage racks I could find are made by Hepco & Becker. I have attached a photo here. This is really the look I am aiming for.. well, minus the top case. Just wish they weren't so expensive and difficult to find.

I came across a how to on this forum site on how to install a USB charging port on the fuse panel. That was great. I plan on doing that soon.

And thanks for the welcoming guys.
