Hi all. My name is Ash I'm from south yorkshire and I passed my motorcycle test last October and I picked up a cbr600f for my first bike. I believe it to be an f3 as that is what it says under the seat but it may be an f4. Hopefully this will be cleared up after I post a picture or two up.

Love the bike but I think I may need a new camchain tensioner. I will be creating a new thread in the relevant section at a later date as I want to make sure I order the correct model

Good to know there's at least 1 other person in the UK, I'm a Scotsman in Liverpool.

My family come from Sheffield, but moved to Lancashire, so that they could stand back and admire Yorkshire from a distance! lol

Ash, we'd call that an F4i here. The production yr + dual headlights give it away. F4i = '01-06...& is fuel injected.

F4 = '99-00, single headlight, & carb'd.
