the zx14 is a sport tourer more than a sportbike. and its fugly IMO, like its side fairing came straight out of the 80's.

Which bike are you talking about here? :You can't really redline shift for the first few gears because the front end comes up easy. [align=left] [/align]

 

I am talking about the 1k. The bike redlines at 12,000 rpm, the front starts comming up around 7,000 rpm thats generally when I shift. Then get right back on the throttle and the front will start to come up again in 2nd, you will gain speed really fast. This is if you get on the throttle hard.


If you slowly openthe throttle,you could redline itwithoutthefront coming up, but that wouldn't be any fun.

How does the cbr600 power and weight wise compare to a suzuki gsxr750? The 750 weights 32lbs more and has about 21 more hp. I like hondas over suzuki and honda has both their 600 and 1000rr on sale. Any of you with 600rr raced a gsxr750? I just rode an 06 gsxr600 with aftermarket pipe and it was a rocket. I would have bought it but they wanted $7900 and for $8200 I can get a new 600rr. Honda, kawasai and Yamaha have alll their bikes on sale due to new models coming out very soon. Suzuki comes out in march.
