Default Hello, new to forum

Thought I'd say hello. I got this link from another Sportbike forum.

Don't have a CBR right now, but I do have a part from one transplanted onto my '85 Yamaha RZ350 2-stroke rocket. CBR F41 shock upgrade from the stocker, works much better than the Yamaha unit from the distant past.

I hope most of the stuff I read here will be more intelligent that the post I was linked to about a fairly new rider on a bike w/o insurance beyond liability who looped his bike good by making a mistake @ 11k rpm. I sure it isn't the prevailing opinion here that these are good first bikes, just wondering.

Besides my 6 vintage 2-stroke Cafe Racers, I also currently ride an '03 Z1000 Kawasaki. Been riding since age 11, 37 years. Yeah, I'm old enough to be your Mom!

Hello, just wanted to intro myself. Im Kyle, just bought my first bike two weeks ago, a 1999 CBR 900RR. Not the first bike ive ridden by any means, but first one of my own. I love being on my bike, its where i spend most of my time when im not at work. I plan on doing all the work on it myself, i am hoping that some of the gurus on this forum will be able to help me out with it. I am very mechanically inclined with cars, but like i said...its my first bike so ive got plenty of learning and reading to do . Take care all.

kyle
