Hello Everyone,

I am a nooby in general both to the forums as well to motorcycling. I don't have a bike yet either... I have been in the market for the past couple months and have a friend who has a 00 CBR600 and it fit me perfectly so I know what I want to go for.

I am only 25 and live in Maine (And no it's not part of Canada! :P) and is happily married to a wonderful woman who letting me get into all of this.

I am especially happy to come across a section for helpful tips to safe driving (Thank you very much for that!)

More than likely I will need to pointers for what to be cautious of when purchasing a CBR 600 (If anyone could help me out with this)

Excellent that your wife is supportive of you wanting to ride. Get her involved & riding as well, if she's so inclined.

There's tons of info on buying bikes. Google "used motorcycle buying guide" or similar. There's many checklists of things to look for & how to look at bikes. When in doubt, have the seller meet you at the local Honda shop for a *pre-purchase inspection*. You'll pay for it but it will benefit both of you in knowing exactly what the bike needs or doesn't need. Then, you can make a more informed decision on your purchase.
