Hello folks, I am new here.
Hello folks, I am new here. I ride a CBR900RRS (tigerblade) that I bought new in 1995 trading a GSXR750.
As well as the fireblade, also owned and ridden since 1995; a 1993 VFR400R NC30 and a Honda XR200, both now sold.
I used to do a lot of touring, alternating between the CBR and the NC30. Not so much in the last few years because of travelling and working oversea.
I have never felt any need to trade the fireblade because it is a great tourer and (in the old days) I could load the tent and the rest of the camping gear and it would be a tractor on dirt roads.

Thanks for the welcome; I am in New Zealand, which is where I am from, though I spend about 4 months of the year in Ukraine.
I am not allowed to upload pictures yet but here are bikes for last 22 years (before that, lots of other bikes).
After I bought the fireblade in 1995 I bought the NC30 which was a crashed bike (front end) imported for parts. I replaced the fairing with one from Thailand, stickers from the States (stickers add 20 kilometres per hour to top speed!) and added a Dynojet kit. A can from UK, it was a bit long so I cut 1/3 off it (it still carburetted cleanly).
I was given the XR200, an original 1981 twin shocker which still had most of its 16 horses and on it I could put-put over most obstacles.
The fireblade; a lot of crashes over the years with lots of parts replaced. And over the years have collected good panels and parts stored in the workshop plus I still have the original swing arm and other bits. Dynojet stage 1, SSSA from a 1994 VFR750, manual cam chain tensioner, zero retard ignition rotor, aftermarket gear change detent and return spring, aftermarket reg/rectifier and other stuff. Except for tyre changes I do my own maintenance.

And other bikes over the last 21 years
I bought a 1993 VFR400R from a wrecker in 1996. I bought it to divide said touring between it and the fireblade.
After I put it back on the road I was off touring. Then a fairing from Thailand, Dynojet kit, a can and other stuff and 20 kilometres an hour worth of super-fast stickers and then more touring. With less gear.
Finally selling it in 2008 to someone who wanted to race it.
And from 1998 to 2010 the 1981 XR200 last of the twin shock XR puddle jumpers able to jump small puddles after a long roll of the throttle.
