Hello everyone!

Attachment 26399Attachment 26400Hello all! Glad to get to know all of you other members out there. Well after years of hoping/wanting/wishing for a bike, I finally purchased a 2013 CBR 250R w/ ABS! I have only just started riding (going on 3 days now), and any kind of tips or advice would really be appreciated. I'm located in Utah around SLC, so if anyone is in the area and would like to ride with a newbie shoot me a message! Here's a picture of my girl, and a picture of my girl on my girl. 😂

Hey, welcome to the forum and congratulations on both your beautiful girls :D

I wanted a bike for years and finally took the plunge about 9 years ago, took my test and I've been enjoying it ever since.

The best advice I can offer is for you to take things slowly at first, assume everyone on the road is trying to kill you and do a rider safety course as soon as possible.

Not trying to be a bore, but it's best to stay safe, and keep that bike nice and shiny!:D

Welcome to the forum, like Hawkwind says 2 beautiful girls , usually we in UK find that when someone in USA gets a bike it's usually a big one straight away, but believe me you can have as much fun on a smaller one as well:)

Thanks you guys! So far I haven't tried to go on any major/congested roads, but I feel that it'll come with time. Any recommendations on safety upgrades??

The best safety upgrades are the ones you make to yourself. Experience will show you how dangerous other drivers and road hazards can be and how to avoid them. ATGATT All the gear, all the time..... It doesn't matter how hot it is outside or how short your ride is, there is not a good enough reason to be a squid and not wear your gear. Finally, keep a good connection between the brain and wrist. That little girl needs you. Try to be more GAF than not.
