hey everyone, i figure I might as well say hi here, meanwhile I'm wondering if anyone else is from my neck of the woods...

my story.. about 10 years ago,i had a 1980 honda 185 XL, great bike, cam chain problems all the time, then I got a 1970 ct70 (major downsize) and again, it had valvetrain problems... so i stopped riding for nearly 10 years... then I see a guy on anothe forum who wants to sell his 88 CBR1000... he's asking a little more than I wanted for my car, which he wanted, so off I go and get me learners for a bike, and trade vehicles... i've had the bike just over a week, put about 1000 kms on it, the thing is friggin fast, and has lots of torque, i like it. I just picked up a new jacket (price was iresistable at 100$ (CDN) for a fully padded jacket) and I'm looking into a Z1R helmet to replace the crappy shoei I have now that's about 20 years old

anyone wanna go for a ride sometime???
