Hello!

Welcome!! Dont stress the speed issue. Your friends are jerks for trying to get you to go fast if you havent been riding that long lol! Man, my friend did that to me as well. I was only two weeks and this clown had me going 110 on some winding back woods. Needless to say I survived but I should have never been doing that. Ride how you want, its you and your bike, enjoy it dont destroy it

My friends were doing 135mph down country lanes, I decided to leave them to it lol

Pipster, as my sig-line says, "Ride Your Own Ride".
Friends should never run off & leave new riders...& def shouldn't set a bad example by doing things that could put a new rider in danger. That shows a real lack of respect IMO. Ride at your own comfort level & don't be pressured.
Glad you found us & joined up. Enjoy the forum. Welcome aboard.
