Default Greetings from: Portland OR.

Greetings;
I plan to be a regular on this and a few other CBR1000F sites. I am in the process of purchasing a '93 CBR1000F with aboout 18,000 miles on the odometer.
This purchase will be only my second bike like it. My others have been H.D. sit up bikes but, I want to have more fun with more power for less money so this is the bike I have chosen.
I plan to ride it a lot this coming spring '2013 here in the Northwest/Portland area, between riding, camping and some Senior League Softball Tourneys in the N.W. area.
Anyone wanting riding friends please let me know. I love to ride, work on bikes and just make new friends
Later,
Bo

Welcome to CBRF Bo!

Hope your purchase goes well. Hope you really enjoy your new-to-you bike. We have a very active 1000F section. If you have any issues or fixes needed w/ your bike, be sure to ask for help.

Since you're in the Portland area, I'm sure you're very familiar w/ good rain gear. ;-) Nevertheless, there's some absolutely beautiful sights to see there...rain or not!

Glad you found us. Settle in & enjoy the forum.

Welcome to the CBR Forum Bo,

As Gotcbr said above, we have a very active CBR1000F membership and are more than happy to help you maintain the bike with knowledge and experience of members or point you in the right direction for parts.

So wander over to the Hurricane Saloon and say hi!

Cheers, SB

And learn you will... Just try to give back whenever you can.

Do you still have the HD, or any other bikes? Some of us, including the top dog, have those too. Love to see what you got, or had...

Welcome.
