Thanks for the welcome. I got the engine complete with almost everything I need to make it run, I'm waiting on a fuel tank and pump. I've also got some FZ6, GSXR, R6 and misc other mfgs pieces coming. Maybe I'll click some pics of aquired pieces in the am and try posting them.

Shadow: The xl600r engine makes a ton of torque and isn't much lighter than the cbr lump but I'm still gonna do some major structural reinforcement to that old 1985 frame. It will probably end up looking like a steel tube cbr frame with an xl steering head. I'm even considering building a Hossack front suspension for it. One of the bmw bikes uses that design and I've heard good things about it. I've been hunting the web for plans or engineering drawings of the Hossack but not so much luck so far. Later Jay
