Gixxer rider converted.

So i've owned two GSXR 750's and I wrecked my beautiful '07 back in Jan. and I'm wanting to switch to a CBR 600. But since I'm new to the CBR bikes I'm not sure what years to stay away from. I found a nice '03 near me that has 12,000 miles on it. I know that's alot of miles for a bike but I heard the CBR's are bullet proof.

12k a lot for a bike? huh? as long as you dont wreck it =P it will last you at LEAST 60k+ miles

welcome !

Meh, 12k for an 03 is pretty damn good- that's only 2k/year. Like JP said, wrecking is what really does your bike in :D Welcome!!

The only problem is how those miles were put on. I don't know if it was raced or not. Thanks for the comments tho.

Hi and welcome :)
There really aren't any years of CBRs that you would have to "stay away" from, just which one fits in your budget. Sounds like you are looking for a 600RR, not an F4i. In that case try '05 or newer. Has inverted forks up front as opposed to the conventionals of '03-'04 years. I think it has upgraded fuelinjection too but you might want to ask in the 600RR forum for more info.
Hope this helps and welcome again!
