So, I picked up my bike last night and was going to have it delivered, but figured, "screw it. I bought it to ride." It was a 8-mile ride home and though I didn't get above 35 (driving through Northern VA at rush hour), I loved it. Can't wait to get on I-95 and open it up some.

I bought it used with only 10 miles on it. I've been told to break it in by not exceeding 6K RPM for the first 600 miles. Is that true? What's the best way to break in my bike?

 

Nice, yeah I was gonna have my friend the guy I bought my bike from ride it to my house when I bought it from him cuz it's a 20 mile trip from his to my house, but I ended up saying screw it and rode it home! Definitely a great experience.

Used with only 10 miles sounds new to me! Yeah theres a period to break it in, what bike did you buy?

I bought a 2006 CBR 600RR. The story is the guy that bought it new in July got it for his 18 year old son. The kid freaked himself out so the father brought the bike back and got him a 500. Great for me!! It's new at a used bike price.
