Hello all. Another newbie to the forum. I just switched from riding a 1983 Yamaha Maxim 750 to a 1996 Honda CBR600 F3. Needless to say, these are two entirely different animals. Since I had a full touring kit on my Yamaha, it was a huge heavy beast. I've wanted a sport bike for a long time though, and even though they're not meant for touring, it's going to tour (gritting teeth against future pain). I'm excited but a little fearful at the same time.

 

Hey, I ride a CBR 600 1998 and it does well even when fully kitted up, paniers, tents etc you know how it is. i can still keepup lol. i havnt done more than 4 days but it was still worth it and the bike does ok too lol. the only bit that does bother me is motorway driving for a long time because the arms start to ache.
