Default First bike '99 CBR600F4

Just brought my first bike home yesterday. Just in time for winter here, in Ontario, Canada.

It's a 1999 CBR600F4, and in pretty good shape. Needs a battery, and as far as I can tell, nothing else.

Going to spend the cold months getting to know the bike a bit (in the garage, and on the forums here), then sign up for a MSF in the spring.

I'm REALLY looking forward to riding it. (I had a car that was my toy for the past 15 years, and decided it was time to try something new). It's going to be a LONG winter.

Welcome aboard Skinnaird!

Congrats on getting your F4! They are great bikes. When you get a new battery, keep it on a BatteryTender to keep it charged, especially if the bike will be sitting for awhile.

Kudos for planning to take the MSF...very smart choice & it will benenfit you.

Come on over to the F4 section & post up some pics!

Good to have you w/ us.

Thanks for the warm reception! Winterizing will start today, and then some stands are next to keep it off the ground, and safe for the winter. I'll be sure to get some pics up soon.
