First bike...1998 Cbrr 900
Hello everyone,
I am new to the forum; I was given a 98 cbrr 900 for my birthday this past October from my dad. He no longer rode the bike so he caved to my relentless begging and handed it over (I guess the mid-life crisis had ran its cycle... lol). It is my first bike and I am eager to learn. It dose make me nervous because I have seen just how powerful the bike is, but I think that my nervousness is a good thing because it forces me to respect the power the bike holds. I haven’t rode the bike yet (I won’t touch it without professional instruction) but, I am scheduled to take the riders course in my area next month. Can't wait.

Welcome to CBRF! Glad to hear that you are getting a CBR 900. I think you will really enjoy it. Good job preparing ahead of time to take a MSF course before riding. I agree with gotcbr, you seem to be approaching riding the right way. Respect the bike and take care of it and it will never let you down.

Hey easy with the mid life crisis stuff there Buddy
But congrats & Welcome to the Forum !
Got PICs ??
BTW , nervousness is good but needs to be progressed to respect with control
That'll come take your time and an MSF class is always recommended
