Default Finally...How'd I do.

33 years old, kids out of diapers. Daddy finally got a toy. Picked up my first bike. 98 600f3, RED/BLK 2,700 miles, one owner always garage kept, front wheel never off the ground. Looks and runs brand new.cept for those damm rubber booties over the mirrors (one keeps poppin off). Anyway, paid $3,500. Bike is bone stock.I'm itching for a pipe in a bad way, trying to find one thats reasonably priced and about a 7 on the 1-10 volume scale. So, did Ipay too muchor what. I'll eventually post a pic but for now I'm sure everyone has seen one before. Thanks!

You can't put a price on what you like...

Sounds like you found a good bike. Near 10 years and only 2700 miles! That's bike abuse.

Sounds like a great deal!! I'm sure you'll get every cent out of it. And I'd have to agree with don on this one, 10 years old and only 2700 miles... thats just not right.

Yeah...he was one of those guys who had a Harley too. Tell me if this makes you want to cry. A very good friend of mine was selling his 2003 rr. I told him, don't sell it, I'll get you a check next week. He didn't think I was serious (which I'll never understand). Well...........he sold and not to me. Get ready for the sadpart. He bough it in 2004 as a left over. He rode it, got scared and let it sit. The bike had 10 miles on it. YUP T-E-N Miles. Sold it with a brand new Icon jacket, gloves, and helment. How much you ask. $4,000.00 I can't stop the tears.. Thus the reason that I wanted to know how I did paying $3,500 for a 1998!
Thanks for the replies!

Good on you, Make sure the mirrors aren't pushed to far foreward, and the rubber boot will fit fine.
