Default ex buell rider

well after a year on a buell firebolt i had it up to here with it!!wheel/swinger/head bearings every 5k...etc...etc riding 23 years got to be the most unreliable bike i've owned,
so i bought myselfmy firstfireblade a 98 918for christmas............god i missed a inline 4,anyway hello everyone.

hello and welcome to the forum. from what ive gathered alot of stuff made by h-d seems to be very unreliable (not to mention expensive)

expensive!!......10k service,thats £930 sir [sm=smiley35.gif],forget it mate i'll service it myself ,or words to that effect.

Glad to have you here. I think you'll find the Honda to be a MUCH more reliable machine. One of the guys I ride with has a XB12s and has gone thru a few trannies already. Even went out on him while doing a trackday @ Road America.[:@]
He does ride it HARD though...
