CBR 125 08 WONT idle after rebuild. Cylinder get very Hot!

So I just done a fresh rebuild top and bottom, I've triple check everything's all good in side.
i filled the radiator up and left the cap off and started her up and it idle at first for about a minute or 2 then cuts, after that will start but only if revs pinned above 1.8k the hotter it get the worse it gets.

I took it apart and notice the intake side of the pistion had some like scuffs but nothing major, mainly superficial.
I assuming I'm going wrong somewhere with the cooling system?
After putting it back together today and having the same result.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated

Your thread title and symptoms don’t sound encouraging to me I’m afraid.
After she has cut out, does it struggle to turn over or fire up at all ? The reason I ask is paired with your cylinder getting very hot it sounds to me like it’s seizing. A nipped ring could soon develope if it hasn’t already.
Have you examined your water pump components.
Best of luck mate

it won't overheat in 2-3 mins if only the cooling system is at fault. As wes says above, something wrong with the rebuild? Remember with internals, especially pistons/cranks etc there's no such things as slight/superficial scuffs...
