I've been riding my 300 and feel pretty comfortable on the street and I'm just do ing street riding I don't even care about how fast the bike go on the free way. I will still keep my ninja 300 so I would still can practice if I need too. And got my MSF thank you!
let me ask you this bud, if you had 2 choices to pick from 2 CBR miles and price, which one?
2008 has 6k miles but price is about 6500$ at the dealership.
2007 has 14k miles price is 4500$ privet owner.
I got 5k $ to spend. Which idea would be better?

Oh I see hmm so yes hp and torque are different but for the streets what's better? Don't you want to be around 5k rpm on the streets?

So my point was about 3 bikes which way is better to by from private owner or dealer. With the dealership I will end up putting down 3k $ and pay 100 for 36 months but I will have a newer bike 6k miles graffiti style body cbr600rr.
or private owner I've been talking to and bike looks in great condition but 14k miles and cheaper

Again, personal opinion. I’d always go with newer and less miles. The more miles and older the more you will spend on maintenance and repair. There are LOTS of bikes on Cycle Trader. Take your time and find the one you want to ride.

Hmm so 14k miles to much for Honda engine bike?
mmm I hear differing if you just keep on maintaining. Newer less miles thats dealing with dealer and paying fees and financing some.
btw happy New year!!!

I'll chime in here as a former Ninja 300 owner! First, I kept mine for a full year (about 6,000 miles) before moving up to my F4i. Great little bike and I wish I'd been able to keep it. So nimble and I wasn't truly ready for the difference between the two. It's big! Second, it is easy to get caught up in small difference in HP and torque when, in reality, you will likely never notice the difference unless: A) you are very experienced, and/or B) you track your bike regularly. For street riding? Eh, what's a tenth or two a quarter mile down the road?

As for mileage, think in terms of autos. Would 7500 make a difference to you between two cars? I'd be more concerned about how well maintained they were and would gladly take a higher mileage car or bike if I knew it had been properly taken care of...

Hope that helps and would love to see pics of whatever you end up going with!
