Default Canadian newbie

I'm new here so I thought I would introduce myself.
I just started riding last year after wanting a bike for 25 odd years. So know I am looking to upgrade to a better bike. Am currently looking at a cbr1000f, so thought this was a good place to get the 411.
A little bit about me. I am a machinist by trade and an airbrush artist in my free time ( whatever that is.) If anyone needs to get some parts made up I can probably help. Same goes for paint. I'm not a professional painter but I know enough to be dangerous . . . ha ha!

welcome to the site. The 100F is a great motorcycle.. plenty of power and comfort.
Enjoy your stay!

Good to have you w/ us Duane.

Why such a long wait to ride?

Where are you located?

Thanks for the warm welcome.
Why so long to ride? With 4 kids, always something more important to pay for. Decided just to go and do it, otherwise it just wouln't happen. Got some grief from the Mrs. but she is ok with it now; mostly.
I'm in Ontario, a little north of Toronto.

Welcome.
Having 4 kids should give you a reason to get out of the house, especially if they're girls! LOL. There is practically unlimited info for you here. You will find what you need and want to know, and some stuff you don't. Have fun riding and reading, let's see some of your work! Be safe.

Quite a talent you have there...

I can draw stick figures, but they're crooked.

Thanks demon. I'm hoping to starting doing some tins and get some paint out there and maybe eventually go full time. It's fun either way tho.
