im looking to buy this honda cbr600rr 2008 for 5000$. it has 40,000 miles on it. i was just wondering if this is a good price for the amount of miles it has.

 

i would not give that much but like older bikes 90s models

 

That is crazy stupid expensive.
In europe these bikes from this year go for around 3k with 40.000 km's (about 30k mile)
I would look further

 

Here in the states there is a giant swing on the value of a bike depending on the region on which you are searching. Expensive shipping cost usually makes it prohibitive to buy a cheap bike from one area and have it freighted to another. So the OP really needs to look at what similar bikes are going for in his area and base it off that.

 

^^^ What he said! If you gave us your location, it might help. I always check Craigslist around my state, just to see the varied prices and also because I just like window shopping!

 

Far too expensive for that bike.
