Default Built CBR900RR on NOS.. In Quad :-)

Hello, I'm new to this form. I've been lurking for a while , but have not created an account because I'm not riding a 2 wheeled bike.

Still I like the attitudes here and peeps seem to know their stuff. Thank you!

I don't know what all is done to the motor, I know is has K@N's and a two brothers full exhaust, and run on race gas. But I have not checked the compressison yet to see if it really needs the race gas.

It also has a pringle air shifter with a electric over air conversion kit.(http://www.pingelonline.com/components.htm) Seems pretty sweet so far. Hold it wide open and hit the button. The shifter will drop the timing and shift to the next gear. All you have to do is hold on :-).

Here is some pics of my bike.

I am still working on the fuel issue, but once done I'll post a quick video.

That's a SWEET quad! Welcome to the forum! I have a quad that I've considering doing something like that to...just not really sure where to start.

Thank you, I'm just getting it going so I have not got any real speed out of it yet. I am not planing on going much over 100 MPH with it, unless on the track. I just want to have the HP to get up the hills fast and love the tork this motor puts out.

Below is two quick videos of last nights testing after getting the gas tank reinstalled and new fuel lines done.

One pretty easy launch, just making sure everything is holding together well.

I did get junk (silicone) in the carbs I will have to pull them out and clean them. What a pain that throttle cable is to take off and put back on :-)..

I'm going to put this little gem here so it is easy for me to find. It is such a GREAT writeup on how to clean the carbs. I give it big props!!

This is a video of it at Dunefest 2011. sorry for all the people at the start of the video it was a busy week. (6,000 plus people).

rustyr01's Channel - YouTube

No one was able to beat this quad all week, and we didn't even use the 100HP of NOS. Yes it is scarry fast.

FYI.. We were launching in 2nd gear, and it will do 90MPH before shifting to 3rd. That is faster then most quads will top out at :-). 5th and 6th gears seldom get used, other then for crusing.
