Hey everyone.

I am brand new to motorcycles. I got my permit last year and I happened to find a deal on a 92 F2. I couldn't say no, so here I am!

This will be my first bike to ride on. I am completely new.

The bike does need some work. The left side fairings are pretty banged up and the left side of the front fairing is pretty much non-existent. I hope to either get lucky and find some parts through you nice folk, or maybe learn more about aftermarket replacements that won't ruin my bank account.

I have a lot to learn and I am very glad to have found this site. I am sure I will be seeing you guys around.

Welcome to the forum. Those F2s are work horses. You will have a lot of fun on it, just easy on the throttle and enjoy it.

Before getting into buyings fairings (I see you only posted the 'good' side), buy some mirrors!

I didn't even realize the mirrors were gone! Thanks for pointing that out. That is a priority now.

 

welcome to CBRF! f2s are great bikes. as far as replacement parts go - ebay, craigslist, and this forum are your best bets. i think your bike looks pretty good, show us the ugly side!

Love the early 600s! Looks a bit Frankenstein with all that plastic stiching on the fairing.

Keep an eye on ebay or the local wreckers and you will find the fairing pieces you need. Good luck with it.
