Trust me, I definately DO NOT intend of getting a new bike, nor do I have money for one. I plan on getting a used bike but not sure of what kind would suit me best.

BUT, they make ego (and even female ones) tend to want to start out on what they want to ride.

Now if you take the MSF and track days etc, those will teach you how to ride properly on any bike.

Just suggestions, IMO a newbie shouldnt be allowed on a 600RR, its a race bike with lights for petes sake lol.

Anyhow best of luck with what ever bike you get.
word

I started on a 50cc 2 stroke. The things I learned on that small bike are invaluable. Because it was so forgiving, light, and easy to control I could do kneedraggers, turn tight tight corners, drift, and go all out. I felt really confident on it because I had so much more control.

now that I have 600cc F3 it is a whole different game. The bike will now work me instead of me working it. Turning with full control, braking, weaving through traffic, it will be a challenge since the throttle is very sensitive and the bike is fking heavy.

You will be riding bikes for the rest of your life. Get something small and master it. You will not be able to pick up some valuable skills on a big bike when you are a noob. On a small and used bike you can work that thing and push it without really worrying about the consequences of a drop. It wont make a big dent in your wallet as dropping a 600c+ will.

btw: i never dropped my bike before

my 2 cents

I agree. i should go buy it. Only problem is i don't know how to ride yet

I still can't get over how amazing the white and blue looks on gixxers. Is there anything you guys don't like about GSXRs?

Really? Give me a few. I don't doubt it, just surprised. I always thought they'd be pretty quick and i think their the best looking bikes there are.

EDIT: oh i didnt see the picture. How much would those (excuse me if my lingo is off) "fairings" or "plastics' run you?

I want a fun, quick, comfortable, and good looking bike for around $2500.

Maybe I should pass on the gsxrs for now. I've heard several times that they are uncomfortable. I kinda like the way the 500cc ninjas look and there are a few for sale that I could afford. I just don't want one that's terribly slow, even for a first bike. A 500cc bike might be a good choice for now. But still waiting for more opinions.
