Belgian newbie
 

Just bought my bike (1996 CBR 600 F3) and waiting for my license plate (might take a while......Belgian bureaucrathy) to collect it.
It's my second Honda, first one was a VTR 1000, lovely twin and a fantastic bike with a "drinking" problem and as my bike will be my commuter as well bringing me to job trough those infamous Belgian trafic jams that "drinking" was an issue.
Beside bikes i'm also (mostly) a car fan especialy MX 5's.
The more i learn/read about those CBR's the more i love them.
btw; sorry for my "broken" English, as it's not my native language.

Have my plates since yesterday, collected the bike and.........what a great machine that is, ,beside the great power delivery it just feels good, all the bikes i've had before were at least 10 kgs heavier and what a difference that makes. Only minor point is the riding position, the articles i've read before described it as a sport tourer but compared to the two Yamahe Thundercat's that i owned before it's deffinitly more sport orientated. Especialy my knees are "folded" in a sporty way ( i'm 1,85mr tall ) but, what the helll.... i have been driving 260 kms going .....nowhere:icon_moped:, just having a great time exploring the handling and those super sweet gear changes.:
On my 2do list now is the removal of those stickers (not my cup of tea.....) and "refresh" it a bit.
