Default been a long while

Hello guys, i joined this forum a few years ago when i bought a 1990 cbr1000f, the bike was stolen shortley after and the forum was forgotten about with being bikeless. good news i have another 1990 cbr1000f in quiet good condition but has a charging problem which i cant figure out. The battery keeps going dead on me, so i had a new reg/rec fitted for around £75 but the battery is still going dead, new battery as well. Any ideas thoughts greatley apreciated.
Thanks in advance Chris.

Heey ......great Chris , ya got another Hurricane , very good man. First things first .......
welcome back to the Forum.....again and do stop by the 1000F section and say hello
we have quite a few Hurricaneers down there to help ya diagnose your charging woes.
Sounds like the stator field coils to me ....... but stop by ,there's a few that have had
that issue....... bit of a pain but one done ........it' ll be all

Enjoy the Forum, congrat's on finding another CBR1000F and Ride Safe

Howdy, Chris! Yeah... could be stator related..
Download the manual and check out the electrical troubleshooting section.
I'm assuming you have a multimeter?
Stop by the 'Cane section to pick up a manual and say hi.

thanks guys.
i have just emailed the local mobile auto electrician, seems very reasonable, but will have a look myself. put the multi meter on the battery earlier on and it says its charging ok plenty of volts with lights and indicators on, wondering wether its going to ground somewhere.
