Default Another squid

Hello all..
Just sold my GSX-R 600 and picked up an 07 1000RR. 12.5k on the clock. Needs a front tire I think I got a fair deal on it (5k clean title). I don't know much about the CBR's but its much more comfortable for me to ride.

It does have some ignorant things done to it, such as spray painted and stripped plastics. No it wasn't down just repainted. I guess its all in taste though.

How are the OEM steering dampeners on these. Worth upgrading? PCV is in the near future. It does have K&N filters and cheap 2 bros exhaust. Need a PCV now? too lean?

A little about me. I tune pro tune at a local shop. I tune subarus and mustangs mostly. Looking to maybe add a nice PE system to the bike world. I am very familiar with alpha-n systems, and that's all most bikes seem to ever be.

Welcome to the forum and the wonderful world of Honda CBRs Poohbear.

Cheers, SB

Getting rid of the gixxer makes you much less of a squid. ;-)

The guys in the 1000RR section will be able to help you w/ your specific questions.

Welcome to CBRF!

Welcome to the forum.
That's quite a step up... The 1000rr is a nice bike. It's comfortable and fast while looking great too. You should be very happy

I love the bike so far... I tend to think its a little too much for me... Im just kind of going through and overhauling little things the the previous owner messed up...

I really need the fork toppers. Top adjusters and the golden nuts. Any good OEM stores to find this stuff that wont break the bank?

Welcome! You'll probably have luck on eBay as well as the other sites listed.
