Another one bites the dust

Another one bites the dust
So after not even a week and less than 200 miles, I dropped it! I have to put the thing on my back patio. In order to do this, I have to drive it up to a particular part of the curb. I drove in from a different direction and cut back way too sharp. I ended up catching myself (luckily) and was able to absorb most of the fall. After that I slipped in the gravel/dirt and the bike landed on my knee and ankle. That wasn't really all that much fun. I don't think I'll do that anymore if I can help it! Dude, I feel like such a freakin' dumba$$!

RE: Another one bites the dust
I've known a lot of people that take there new bike out in a nice clean yard and lay it down in the soft grass to get that first drop out of the way.
It's going to happen... and if it never does, I pity you and your bike for not using it like it was meant to be. They're sport bikes... not show toys.
You're not as big of a dumba$$ as I am.... I dropped mine in heavy traffic leaving work because my pant leg caught around the heel guard. It looked like I pulled up to the traffic light and just decided not to put my foot down. It happens.... frame slider will help save a lot of damage.
