Another noob w/ 4fi questions
Hi all, ive been lurking for awhile and decided to join to ask some questions, wich im sure have been asked millions of times before, anyways here it goes.
From what ive been reading there hasent been many changes to the f4i except for the seat, am I right about this? if so is the new banana seat more comfortable or the same as the 2 peice seat?
I curently own a 2003 yamaha fz1 wich is a really great bike but was thinking of getting the 4fi because I feel with its light weight it would be funner on curvy roads and will still offer the enjoyment of sitting more upright like the fizzy, the only downside I see makeing such transition would be the loss of power going from a 1000 to a 600cc bike.
How many people have ever done something like this? or would it be a dum idea to do ?
Thanks

RE: Another noob w/ 4fi questions
I went from an 02 f4i to a 1krr. The f4i is way more nimble, and the power diff isn't THAT big, and hardly noticable in the twisties. Lots more lower end grunt, but above 7-8 k, unless your one hell of a rider, its pretty damn similar. I feel like i rode the f4i closer to its power limits, but never felt as if i was flogging it too bad. The f4i is a great bike tho. I don't care much for tha banana seat, but i hear it is more comfortable. If i had never wrecked mine, i would prob still be riding it. ( I repaired it, rode it for a year and sold it)
