Hi,
I am from Atlanta and have been playing with cars all my life. We have had many cars over the years. All marks and all sizes. I have always liked cycles. The parents said no cycles, stick to cars and karts. Last weekend we bought our first cycle. It is a 1990 CBR 600. I am in love. The guy that had it before us wasn't very nice to it, so it has been dropped and has some issues. It runs, shift and drives great, just doesn't look the best. I will be looking for parts while I am on here to replace what he messed up. It's my first bike and I fell hard last night in a col-de-sac and so we will keep everything on it as we collect parts until I get the hang of riding it.

welcome to the site! looks like the atlanta crowd is growing (quite a few members here in that area). i used to live in alpharetta... heading there this weekend by the way and hopefully i'll be able to bring my bike.

anyway, congrats on the bike. sorry to hear about your fall. hope you weren't hurt too bad.

 

Thanks alot for the replies. I will be sending a PM for the picture help. I may have to change the format to fit the uploading format that the site uses. Everything feels fine and the fall only taught me what to do next time.

Sorry to hear about the fall, it happens to everyone, glad you aren't hurt. Get a bunch of stickers and cover up the scrapes and stuff and enjoy. I kinda like the look of a scuffed up bike so don't worry about it.
