Default alrighty! new member being all polite and whatnot.

so yeah err hi from scotland!

put my first road bike down the road after about 15months of fun, bent frame, bent forks, thought gs500's were meant to crash well P= so that's being put aside for a winter project and i've just got an f3 cbr600 98' in the black/grey colour-way on the cheap so thats a bonus, pictures to follow.

the downside of the above is that it looks like i've torn my rotator cuff so i've got zero strength in my right shoulder and i'll be off the road until i'm all sorted... bugger.

anyway,
hi guys.

Wow, I didn't know GS500's could be broken either!

Welcome to CBRF! Good job picking up the F3. I can personally verify that those do crash well. They are tanks.

Post some pics!

Welcome to CBRF... Sorry to hear about the injury... I hope that it doesn't keep you off the road for too long... As far as the F3, take Conrice's word for it... Don't go testing the theory on your own... Enjoy the site...

Glad your on the mend. I crashed this past summer and dislocated my shoulder. Takes a while to heal, but once you start getting some strength back into it, try using it as much as you can. Even little things like drinking a beer (or scotch ) help it heal!

oh well that was a warm welcome haha cheers guys I'm cracking up not being able to get out on the cbr or work on the gs (which i've got something tasty lined up for) but plenty of time i guess but for the time being i'm grounded haha

came across this in on ebay and posted it up in the forums 125,250,etc section. ultimate sleeper? wouldn't pay that for it but what a laugh it would be!

Welcome to the CBR Forum,

Take your time and heal well! No matter what bikes are metal and can be fixed or replaced. We can't!

Cheers, SB

Get well soon m8 I am sure you are itching to get on the bike and ride those great Scottish roads. Where in Scotland are you from? I was up in the Dingwall, Strathpeffer, Taine area last September, fantastic. You lucky man. I am hoping to ride further north this year and maybe take my xv535 to thunder in the glen. Greets from Manchester.

Get well soon Brother - a damaged rotator cuff takes a while to heal.
The bike will be ready when you are.

Oh and that 400 with the 600 engine in it will kill you very quickly - the frame won't handle the power...........
