Default After much debating and figure punching! Good model year CBR?

Hi everybody...

IV been giving it alot of thought and im goin for a CBR, im goin to start shopping until my MSF class, but Iv noticed how the 01--03 CBR models have seperated seats while the others dont...Any inputs in that??

And regarding the different models for CBR600 RR and CBR600 F4i, what are the major differences apart from some preformance and that the F4i is more comftrable?

Do they both have shift lights? Oh yea i rememered, if it says the seat hieght is 32.5 inches, is that the drivers or riders seat? How tall does your legs have to be so you can ride on comftrablly? (like when you buy the jeans you have a length measurment then a waist measurment, how long does the lenght measurment have to be?)
thanks!

Separate seat issue is just a style thang.

You pretty much summed up the difference in the F4i and the RR.

Seat height is referring to drivers seat.

I don't know how that correlates to jeans manufacturers numbers.

Best advice I can offer is to go to some dealers that have used bike inventories and sit on a bunch of different bikes til you find one that is acceptable in the comfort/power equation. I will admit that FAST is really cool for about 2 weeks but COMFORT is nice for a loooooong time.

Uhhhhhhh....I don't think so[:@] Nothing better than being able to hit those kinds of speeds on only a 600.!

Welcome to the boards. Definatly make sure you take your MSF class first before you do anything. I'd reccomend looking into an older F2 or F3 as your first bike. They are abit more forgiving.

great advice Neon. i was looking at the newer CBR's as well b4 i bought my F2. i def. dont regret it b/c i already scraped my right fairing when i was changing the oil. i would rather learn and get my mistakes outta the way on this bike then on a brand new. Good luck Car2cycle and take the msf course!
