Cool After the Gixxer, this FSport is a blessing!

Hey guys, just wanna properly introduce me to the CBRFORUM tribe .

Iīve been lurking around here for awhile, without being a member, researching for eventual big problems with the cbr model that I was thinking of buying (2001 cbr 600 Fsport european model) and after seeing that the Honda still shows a top quality build, I decided to pick her up and I couldnīt be more satisfied. Really.

I started riding a Vespa then a CRM 50 then moved on to a VFR400 NC30 followed by a damned Gixxer 750 that seized on a B road and throwed me to a hospital bed for 3 months followed by a 1.5 years of wickedly painfull recuperation: busted up right foot, completely obliterated right knee cap and femur, hip and jaw .

After a dozen surgeries and a few pounds of titanium I decided to take a break from bikes but I couldnīt. So, this beatifull girl came to my rescue

2001 Red CBR 600 FSport
*18000 miles
*Full Leo Vince
*Power Commander
*Ohlins Fork Springs
*Custom Undertail and a few other cosmetic bits

She rides on tracks and is a million miles away from the gixxer, quality and confort is a no match.
Iīm stoked.

So, heres to a awesome ride and fellow riders

Hey there Slick, congratulations on your new bike; very nice with quality aftermarkets. Sorry to hear about your mishap, but you're diehard and it sounds like it'll take more that a bunch of broken bones to keep you off a bike. Your region of the world is really beautiful and I'm hoping to visit there someday. There are lots of FSport (F4i) members here and it’s good to have you onboard.
Welcome to CBRF

Thanks guys, she really is a beauty and in excellent shape.

*Incognito* in Europe we have the F4i in two different shapes with a few differences engine wise, the so called banana seat type and the split seat FSport type, which is,in my opinion loads better looking then the banana seat one .

And yes, Portugal being a mediterranean country is beatifull, warm almost the entire year and plenty of sunny days and twisty roads by the massive shoreline that we have.
We can pretty much ride all year long
If you ever decide to come you wonīt be dissapointed

After a Gixxer, getting kicked in the face by a horse is a blessing. I HATE working on those things; I swear they came straight out of Hong Kong.

You can't relate? Look at your hospital gig. It totally reads like you got kicked in the face by a horse LOL
