Talking '96 cbr600 f3

Sup Brahs.

I'm CB from South Jersey. I'm 23.

I just learned to ride at the beginning of this season. I bought a Nighthawk 250 and took the MSF course. I ride every single day the weather allows, so after a couple months I wanted something bigger and badder than the Nighthawk.

I saw an ad on craigslist for a '96 CBR600 F3 and now it's mine. The previous owner was an aircraft mechanic on a military base and was obsessive compulsive when it came to taking care of this bike. It has a little over 7,700 on it, and runs like brand new. This bike is awesome and I couldn't be happier with it.

It has a D&D slip-on and I know that the sprockets were changed for more low-end power, but I haven't had a chance to look at them yet. The rear fender was removed, and the turn signals were also modded. Other than that, the bike is stock.

That is a beautiful F3! Excellent find. Congrats. I know you'll carry on the obsessive care of one that nice.

Kudos on taking the MSF course & stating off right. It will benefit you in the long run.

Welcome to the forum.

Welcome and great looking bike. Now what do you not like about it??? I have one, had two but sold one, so it is always interesting so see what other owners like/dislike about them.

Thanks for the warm welcome homies.

@xjgseven - Considering I just stepped up from a 2001 Nighthawk 250 (which is lightyears behind this bike), there's really not much to dislike besides minor aesthetics. Uhh...the windscreen isn't the best I guess...
