1995 CBR 600 F3 To be CB600R
Hey guys,
I picked up a 95 CBR600 F3 from a friend of mine for the price of 1 case of beer.
I currently Ride a 2002 Yamaha R6 with a 2001 R6 to serve in it's place as my dedicated track bike. The 01 currently being rebuilt for this year's riding season.
In addition to that I have a 1983 Honda CR60 2 stroke that is no joke. Fun little pitbike to putt around on when I'm at the track.
So why was it only worth 1 case of beer... It's trashed tail section is torqued about 2 inches to the right and the left motor mount is pulled out about half an inch in addition to breaking that tab off of the motor.
What do then? well I wanted it mostly for the wheels and the swing arm for my CB750 project. which as you see here has a CBR600 F2 motor I grabbed off of craigslist.
Initially I wanted to put a 2007 GSX-R 750 Front end on it and had a GSX-R 1000 rear end with a 190 rear tire that looked quite appealing at mockup but the engineering challenges just made the bike less and less fun to work on.
So even after redoing the majority of the frame this version was scrapped and I'm re imagining the whole thing using a portion of the CBR600F3's frame.
"sketch" of the end goal.
