01 CBR600F4i 02 sensor help. Pleasssse
So I’ve googled and searched for some time now to try and find an answer to this problem. I have a 2001 cbr 600 f4i with the dreaded 02 sensor code popping up. I’ve searched for hours and I do not have a 02 sensor pigtail. I thought maybe previous owner cut it stached it taped it etc. the answer is no. My only conclusion is that the ecu had to of been swapped to a ca model. If that’s the case wouldn’t the ohm resistor trick still
work but from the ecu side ? I downloaded the manual and can’t seem to find what pins on the ecu is for that sensor. So the delete kit is not an option. Ecu on eBay is 400 dollars also not an option. And I’m too much of a rookie to do a flash or power commander etc. so can anybody please help me id what pins on the ecu would be for the 02 sensor and I can just basically pin it there. Also if this sounds dumb please any advice further to help. Thx everyone.

Greetings & Salutations!!
Is there O2-sensor plugged into exhaust (usually after merge)?
Do you have wiring-diagram in manual?
Does it show O2-sensor on diagram?
If so, take picture of diagram and post it here and we can figure this out together.

so no there is no 02 sensor on bike now. Someone had put a slip on after marker with no bung hole or 02 sensor. So I basically took bike apart looking for this connecter. And it’s no where to be found. The manual
i have is not the one that came with bike. I never got one but I found one on google And it’s not much help. So my idea is if anybody knows where the 02 sensor plugs into the ecu I can just ohm resistor trick there instead of the usual pigtail. My bike is throwing the f1 light for the 02
ssnsor and it’s the only code thrown. So
inassume in the bikes history someone may have swaped Ecu for a California model. So where is the pins on the ecu for this 02 sensor
I can send you what I found maybe can make more sense of it. Just googled my bike manual and it came up Like 456 page book give or take and it has the diagrams just way to small and can’t read the words etc.
that looks like correct manual. viewing online sucks, you have to download entire PDF to local system and open downloaded file.
I did Google search for "CBR600F4i" "service manual" download and found this. Just click on Download button and save it. Might need PDF-viewer app.

Haven't looked at diagram, so can't say exactly. Don't try to figure out ENTIRE wiring diagram, just O2-sensor. Like looking at road-map, you don't need to digest every single road on map. Just look at where you are and trace path to where to want to go. So process goes something like this:
1. print out wiring-diagram full-size on sheet of paper
2. pull out highlighting markers
3. find O2-sensor
4. locate 4 wires coming out of sensor
5. identify 2 wires for sensor heater, it should have symbol similar to resistor
6. using highlighter (different colour for each wire), trace 2 heater wires back to ECU connector
7. connect proper value resistor to those pins on ECU connector to simulate O2-sensor
Here's one where I helped someone track down wiring for horn. Turned out wire was disconnected
