Question for ladies!

Hey! sorry if i am breaking the rules for posting here, but it seems to me to be the best place to post my question.

Anyways, my girlfriend has always been weary about me riding my bike. i drive a 1981 yamaha so you know it doesnt look cool, or go very fast. She really worries about me riding. Recently i bought a 98 F3, and will be riding that. She is even more upset over this. She isnt against motorcycles, she just worries about me. I dont blame her for worrying. She rides with us sometimes whenme and her brother go out, she rides on the back of his gixxer. I bought a new helmet for her for when she rides too, so she has one of her own. I will be going to college again soon, and will be taking my bike there. She is upset about this too. she says she "doesnt want me riding" but i know what she wants is for me to be safe. She isnt agaist riding at all, she enjoys it and i hope somday she will want to ride a bike herself.

Anyways, now for the question. How can i make her more comfortable with me riding? I just want to make it so she does not worry everytime i pull off on my bike, wondering if it is the last time she is ever going to see me. I ride safe and smart. I hope there is a way to ease her feelings.

Thanks for all the advice all the ladies give me. I really hope it helps.
~Justin

RE: Question for ladies!

Well it sounds like she loves you and you can't make or ask someone that loves you not toworry about you. There's really nothing you can do, you worry about the ones you love. Sorry buddy.. just keep your gear on and ride smart.

RE: Question for ladies!

I was worried about my husband driving his bike as well but that is because he hasn't ridden a bike in about 14 years and he bought a suzuki 500.
I went and got my beginners for a bike never driven before not even a car. I thought a bike licence first then maybe a car and I'm 33 years old. I bought my first bike then I took the course which was fantastic I'm not nervous any more about his driving and it's only been a week. Try and get her to go for the course and she will feel better about it. As long as you wear all your gear and drive safe then there is no worries but be prepared for everything. I hope this helps you and her.
