Why did I travel to Melbourne?

The ride went well.........
until it didn't
The 'new' CBR1000F all cleaned up and set to go for a spin....
NOTE the nice Corbin seat the 'Bears hairy butt is parked on - Thanks Strek
And away we go......................
Only to grind to a halt about 6 or 7 kilometres up the hill with the front right calliper smoking like steam train.
A call to Mrs SB (who thank goodness suggested I take my phone) and a hammer and flat bladed screw driver were applied to loosen the calliper enough to return home.
Had plenty of power until it was halted by brake drag
Cam chain rattles like a pre-school childcare centre.
Cheers, SB

I'll give you what you paid for it minus shipping fees. I think I can fix it. LOL
I did a brake job for a guy when I was about 24yrs old. The bike was a water buffalo and I didn't think it mattered where the pads went in the front. I thought wrong. At 60 mph the front pads started dragging and when they did they expanded only to drag to the point of locking up. WOW!

I won't take that bet TBT
I just kept dropping gears wondering why I was losing power - then the smoke caught up.
There are a few jobs to do to the old girl, and a brake strip and clean just made the list.
Cheers, SB
