Vote -How many old coots on Hurricanes?

67 .......... that's a lot of candles
[/QUOTE]Yup. Apparently my birthday cake is visible from space. At least that's what one of boys claims.
I understand your point. Two of my sons married Maine women, and we've visited there. Beautiful area, and you do have all that water to the east of you. Nice people, too. But the best thing was going to the Weathervane in Belfast (my son worked there for a while) and eating lobster.
Even so, I'll take Montana.
We have this:
And this:

As well as this:

Flatland, mountains, rivers, lakes, and a horizon that you can see 100 miles away. I grew in flat country, and just don't feel at home with mountains and trees all around me. We lived in Kalispell for five years and it felt so much better moving back to the central part of the state.
Love to visit the mountains, just don't want to live there.

Wyoming is wonderful also. It has the advantage of having even fewer people per square mile than Montana.
I, too, have difficulty staying with the speed limits.
