Re the front wobbles -
As well as checking the air , the balance and alignment ... get the front up in the air and check that tire for even shape and tread wear or for any cupping mate ...

Noticed the dent in the front rim in the garage last night. Thanks for the hints. I know of an 87 parts hulk nearby though, Anyone else need anything? It's pretty much just a rolling chassis with electrics.
