Default Things I should know had I been paying attention

Alas, I sold the old road dog (my '87 with over 85k on the clock not counting the year I rode with a broken speedo cable) and I have been sad ever since

Got a tip on a '90 w/ a tick over 15k miles on the clock. Silver scheme with the white rims It's being listed on consignment at a local dealer for $1499.00 US. I"ve spent so much time in MkI land that I don't know the differences in the MkII's, other than some of the obvious ones.

NO FUEL PUMP!
Speedo driven off the trans, not the front hub
Sidestand safety switch
Linked brakes?
Any others?

Won't have a chance to see it until Tuesday. Want to hear a cold start and warm up and if she sings to me I just might pounce

No linked brakes in the '90, they started in '93. Also front forks have cartridge style damper, huge improvement in ride quality over older damper rod jobbies.

Cheers,

Hello.
Is it possible to mount the new version of front fork in a 87 sc21 version?

Do the Race Tech Gold Valve conversion. Simpler, easier to maintain, probably cheaper, customize-able/adjustable valving, more up to date modern and better too.
On the photo the lower is an upgraded spring set by Works Suspension on original forks.
