Default Thanks Mattson - you're a gem!

So, back from 4 days in the Flinders Ranges and open to the mailbox to a package from....................Finland!

Matti, I've got to say I was speechless. Thank you very much for the magazines, letter, card and salty liquorice - having a Dutch ex, I have had similar liquorice before and enjoy it greatly. I'll be flicking through those magazines from the comfort of my bed tonight and re-reading your letter.

And it is a fantastic picture of your son.

You have made my birthday (in 2 days time) very special already!

Here's cheers to you and your family from the 'Bears

Ah, it finally arrived! I sent it on april fool's day so it's been faring for nearly a month, was a bit worried will it reach you in time

...and it's not salty licqourice, it's salmiakki, not the same thing

It was one of those ideas that kept growing on it's own as explained in the letter, at first I meant to just send the card but then got the salmiakki idea and when fetching them saw the mags and thought they will fit under the same mailing fee so why not...

Have fun on your extended holiday/working trip in Vietnam and be sure to keep us posted!

And again, congrats on your birthday! What was it, 29?

Well it's the first time I've had Salmiakki and it is good. A little worried about the Ammonium chloride though!

There will be a blog of sorts from Vietnam, although this time we'll initially be setting up house as well.

Again thanks man - superb surprise.

Cheers, SB
