I'm not allowed sharp objects to cut your cake so my wife says...something about psycho!!

I'll take your crutches away and make you crawl around the big halls if you keep this up!! Plus my back couldn't take the extra weight unless I start training

Heres the update
Assessor has been, accepted Clay Cross Quote so work can be done, result. Parts ordered so should be ready next week.
Third party insurers have accepted liability, result, it means I get the excess back and its officially a not my fault accident (though as the bike cant move sideward and I got drew out on that's a given in my mind)
Foot, leg and ankle have got movement I can walk OK without too much pain, still hurts at night though but I am getting some sleep now. This means I can walk around unaided Chippy.
Physio booked and independent doctor booked, so insurance claim can start off
Im off to the NEC next week so should get a bargain on new boots and trousers.

Dave if you sleep on your side, try putting a pillow between your legs, will help keep the pressure off and might help you get better rest.

Glad to hear your on the mend and the insurance news is good too!

And now for the good news now that you are on the mend Dave.

My back to back out on the rig is signed off sick until next year so at the moment I am sat here not knowing whom will be coming out to relieve me, if anyone on Thursday.

I will obviously let you know as soon as I do whether I will be able to make it to the NEC or not Dave but the important thing is that you get yourself mended.

Default The Worst

Well the worst has happened and they can't find any relief for me on Thursday. This means I would not get off the rig until late Friday afternoon anyway so my day at the NEC is out of the window.

I am so sorry Dave I will not be able to watch you hobble around the halls at the NEC this year. I hope you can get there and you have an awesome time. I am totally jealous.
