I also use the Cortech saddle bags. When I change bikes I just move them over to the other bike. Light weight and fit well on the hurricane.

I have ended up going for a Ventura rack with a Mistral 47L bag.

Its a bit between a hard case and a soft bag.
Only other thing i am thinking is a taller screen nut not sure about that.

What are the best bars with the highest rise for touring. Preferably bars without having to make cable modifications.

Ive done/do lots of km on my 1000F and find it comfy enough with standard bars and no risers. I have them on the Blackbird though.
