I don't understand the point......

It's basically a fuel stabilizer... And the benefits of it are fuel related. So on your crown vic that has been sitting for a while, why wouldn't you want to put it in the tank to run through the injectors?

Agree with you Conrice. Something I will do after replacing the fuel filter.

Seafoam is a solvent as well as a stabilizer

The gist of this method is to introduce straight seafoam into the intake and really giving the injectors and valve guides a good cleaning, like pouring gumout down the throat of a carborated engine. Some claim it removes carbon but I think that's an exaggeration.

The company that makes Seafoam actually suggests 1/3 of a bottle in your gas tank, 1/3 in your crankcase oil and the remaining third applied as above.

This guy seems to think that if a little is good, a lot must be better

I was more impressed with his video camera skills. Having a good portion of the action taking place outside of the camera view is a rare, yet not often sought after skill.
I wonder if the production department where I work could use him.

1/3 in your crankcase oil
NONONONONONONONONONO

Great in fuel, NOT IN THE ENGINE/CRANKCASE
I know at least two guys who ran bearings after putting Seafoam in engine oil
